HW Problems

Mrs. Hicks: I didn't get the math sheets that were handed out. Can I come in early this morning and work on it? Also....I was the one who took my group's comstitution home. We were close to finishing, but when I took it home, I forgot to bring along the notes that we took (to guide us on what it would be about). Can I come early and work on that too? I think I might see if I can get to school by 7 or 7:15. About what time will you be at school tommorow?

EXHIBITION- essay about yourself due tomorrow in handwritten form. Write it on your blog by Monday. Everything should be in your IB folder.

W: HW 03 31

Math: Check your objective 1 questions, and complete the 2 objective 2 worksheets
Reading: Check your passage, "Ganges River," and complete" No Funny Business" and "A Modern Wonder".  You will have until 8:20 tomorrow morning to  finish these passages.  Make sure you verify your answers by returning to the text and writing Q1, etc.  Make sure you highlight the main idea/inference in each paragraph or write side notes (snippets).  Most questions can be verified, some cannot but make sure you show some work at each paragraph.  You had this morning to complete, " No Funny Business"
Social Studies: You had 1 hour to complete the constitution in classn today, and  you should have completed your part in class.  If you did not, make sure you complete it for homework. You all have had 4 hours class time to work on this project.
Language Arts/Exhibition: Complete your personal essay.  You should have finished your brainstorm in class and had time to work on it in class.  Thank you to those who took their recess today to work on it to ensure it would be done.  Your rough draft essay is due tomorrow in your IB Folder.  The written essay should be posted on your Exhibition Blog by Monday. 
Science: Study your flaschards for at least 15 minutes and give it a percentage correct.  Do not forget to get your log signed tonight. 

Extra: Conduct cuts get signed :( and your report card.

Science: Study science flashcards for fifteen minutes. Have your mom/dad sign the page in your science journal.
Exhibition: Exhibition paragraph is due on Thursday. It has to be handwritten. Include what we discussed in class.

Reading:Do the next section of the reading packet. There are two stories, but they are linked together. Do the 12 questions following that.
Language Arts:None. Word explorer will be passed out tomorrow.
Social Studies: None.
Science: None.
Exhibition: Write notes on Spiritual Health and Human Relationships. Write a story/essay about yourself using the notes you took about the different parts of Who We Are. The story/essay is due on Wednesday.

Math: Finish next 12 questions in packet.  I can be wrong here...so check with a friend...( I cannot remember if I said 6 or 12).
Science: Finish flashcards if you have not done so./ Study vocabulary words.
Language Arts: Your spring break essay (make sure you have gone through five stages of writing).  I definitely need your brainstorm, rough draft, revise, edit, in  your language arts folder.  Your final copy must have a handwritten form before you begin to type it :).  This will be a classwork grade for final copy and classwork grade for all the other four stages.  I am also interested in the process than just the final product.

Spring Break HW Clarification

Math: Both Math Packets (from Wed. and Fri.) You should have finished these in class. 
Science: Vocabulary Flashcards: definition, picture, sentence, question (with answer choices)
Reading: 10 questions for City of Ember with choices

You will have time in the morning Monday-Friday from 7:50-8:20 to work on the Science Flashcards.  They will be due at 8:20 on Friday morning...but this does not mean you procrastinate :).  For those that do finish by Monday, you get 5 bonus pts, Tuesday, 4 bonus pts, Wednesday, 3 bonus pts, Thursday, 2 bonus pts, Friday: no bonus pts. We will have a mock Vocabee on Friday, the 26th...girls vs. boys. Winners eat in the classroom.

I just went onto googole and I found out that there is Google books. You can read a book on the internet. It is mostly adult books but alot of the books are informative. There is a really good book about James Madison.
