OLIVIA

FIFA World Cup

really, your wacthing the world cup? me, my brother and my siste hav wacthed every game. i lost my voice a little bit because i screamed to the top of my lungs when usa scored the luckiedt goal ever against England. we kinda felt bad for the goalie. me and my other brother had a bet that usa would. if they did i got 5 bucks. if they lost my brothr got 5 bucks. but they tied so o well. we are going for.......

Argentina
USA
Spain
Portugal
Ivory Coast
Netherlands

and we are just wacthing th rest of the games becausse they are on.

Stuff

I just realized something. Its that when Ms.Hicks brought a huge computer, we could have just all those songs to a flashdrive then brought the flash drive here. When you go on files and you click music, you go on the music file and click on the flashdrive thing and it would be saved. Also, things are going good in Pakistan. I am watchin the FIFA cup. I still have jet lag and many people might not know what this is. Its when you go to the other side of the world, it is night there when it is day in America. That means that I stay awake the whole night and sleep during the day. Its gotten better. I still would rather stay in Houston than come to Pakistan. If anything happens in America, can you email me at ssidiq101@gmail.com.

Hello!

Hi guys,

I just wanted to post that I finally...moved out of the music room, and actually took all the books to the women's shelter.  They were soooooooo appreciative of all the childrens' books.  I even insisited I take pictures as proof that I did deliver them, all 190 books...

Here is Orion posing with the man and all the books.

Notice, Olivia, Odin  is guarding my summer purse, which I have received so many compliments on as I run my errands.

You guys have a great summer! You know you all could start a book club with one book (off the list) and all discuss it via the blog....give you all something to do :)

I miss you all too!
Mrs. Zamarripa-Hicks

The Shutter fly things has really good pictures. Now Alina should know what Regal Ranch looks like. I took many pictures. Unfortunately, many of the pictures got deleted for no apparent reason. I still have some pictures.

ShutterFly

Hooray! This is the 200th post. I did the 100th and the 200th post. No, I didn't count. It says that on my dashboard.
The shutter fly thingy worked for me. Maybe Alina made a spelling error.

UH OH

When I tried to log into the shutterfly account, it did not work for me.. What happened? Has anyone else had problems? Maybe it was just me typing the letters incorrectly. Mrs. Hicks, could you please check it again? If it doesn't work, I'm perfectly fine.

Party

Since tomorrow is the 5th grade party, I have two questions. The first one is that, do we have to bring our lunch, will lunch be provided? My second question is that Since we are supposed to bring something, what should I bring? The sheet said desert or drinks. I might bring cookies, cupcakes or popsicles. What should I bring?

vote for

I vote for Hollywoods

Friday, April 23, 2010

My vote

i don't know if this is how i am supposed to do it but i vote for hasslehoffs. am i supposed to do it in a comment?

Field Day

Today, we had a discussion about our field day name:

  • Zamarripa-Hicks's Hollywoods (cool b/c we are all stars or like the spotlight)
  • Zamarripa-Hicks's Zengers (because we speak out...risk-takers)
  • Zamarripa-Hicks's Zorro-Hee-Hees (Zorro is kind of a super-hero (can wear black capes, masks) and Hee-Hees b/c we love to laugh
  • Zamarripa-Hicks's Hasslehoffs (a movie Star that was on Bay-Watch..not a great actor who got a role in the Spongebob Movie- kind of comical....but does he represent us? or is it just funny...to some...)
  • Zamarripa-Hicks's Hippies (been this before)
  • Zamarripa-Hicks's Awesome Z's
  • Z-Horses

Remember we need a logo....Which one is feasible for a logo or an easy design?
  • Hollywoods could have a star?
  • Zengers a mouth???
  • Zorro-Hee- Hees a Z b/c he drew Z's everywhere
  • Hasselhoffs????
    Hippies...a peace sign
  • Awesome Z's.... ?
  • Z-Horses ( a horse)

You all decide...but do not choose a name b/c people are trying to convice you..
Sign your post...with your name and reason....not just b/c someone told me too....

Have a great weekend and thank you for being so well-behaved.  Only 4 more school days for TAKS...you all have been working so hard and I greatly appreciate it.

Mrs. Zamarripa-Hicks
