International Festival January 30th

We have decided to host the Haiti table. So far, I have Tanny and Felicia who have committed to working a shift.
Some ideas for our table are ribbons, dish from Haiti, PowerPoint Presentation, Video of interviews of thoughts/feelings/of Haiti Earthquake. Below is a copy of an email I received about the International Festival. We needs shifts for
Set-Up: I will help any way I can as I have a Odyssey of Mind Training this day.

8th Annual International Festival Mark Twain

Jan. 30, 1:00 - 4:00 pm
Come celebrate the diversity of the cultures and backgrounds represented in our school with a festival of performances and country displays. This year's theme is "Where are we in the World". Host a table for your country

The following countries will be represented at the festival:

Argentina, Bangladesh, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Cuba, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Haiti, Honduras, India, Israel, Italy, Korea, Libya, Mauritania, Mexico, Pakistan, Palestine, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Russia, Scotland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Trinidad/Tobago

If the country you love is not on this list, please consider hosting a table for it!

The Parade of Countries

Meet up at 12:45 in the 2nd grade wing to be part of the parade of countries to kick off the festival! Children are encouraged to wear traditional costumes, soccer jerseys or t-shirts from their respective countries.

I will help set up what ever we are setting up. I also will help doiung interviews with other people and what are the toughts they have on the haiti earthquake. Also ask the question what they will they do to help the people of Haiti. (That is the most important question.)
