The Shutter fly things has really good pictures. Now Alina should know what Regal Ranch looks like. I took many pictures. Unfortunately, many of the pictures got deleted for no apparent reason. I still have some pictures.

Hooray! This is the 200th post. I did the 100th and the 200th post. No, I didn't count. It says that on my dashboard.
The shutter fly thingy worked for me. Maybe Alina made a spelling error.

UH OH

When I tried to log into the shutterfly account, it did not work for me.. What happened? Has anyone else had problems? Maybe it was just me typing the letters incorrectly. Mrs. Hicks, could you please check it again? If it doesn't work, I'm perfectly fine.

Since tomorrow is the 5th grade party, I have two questions. The first one is that, do we have to bring our lunch, will lunch be provided? My second question is that Since we are supposed to bring something, what should I bring? The sheet said desert or drinks. I might bring cookies, cupcakes or popsicles. What should I bring?

I am just volunteering because I have nothing to do over the summer. I could make a fifth grade survival guide for the upcoming fifth graders. I'll get bored.

Math: Math projects are due on Thursday. Make sure you put your best effort in it!
Reading: None.
Social Studies: Social Studies Chapter 15 Lessons 1, 2, 3, and 4 are due on Friday. There is no review.
Science: None.
Language Arts/Exhibition: No Language Arts, but there is stuff that we need to do for exhibition. Blog books are due tomorrow morning at 8:20. If you haven't done parts of your blog, (i.e. collage, posts....) then you might want to. I think Ms. Hicks said that she might take a completion grade. You might want to practice the dance....our presentation is tomorrow.

Do not forget to bring a white or black t-shirt and jeans tomorrow in a bag for our dance.tomorrow in a bag for our dance. If you have Converse, then you might want to have those too.For those who have more than one pair, it might be nice to bring another pair for others who do not have Converse.

Exhibition Book

I have a question about the exhibition book. Does the dedication page go before or after the table of contents? I am also wondering because Ms.Hicks said something about this at school. Do we illustrate a picture on each page related to the post? THANX :-)

Math Objectives for Fifth Grade

Objective 1 : Numbers, Operation, and Quanatative Reasoning

• 5.1A and 5.1B - use place value to read, write, compare, and order whole numbers through the 999,999,999,999/use place value to read, write, compare, and order decimals through the thousandths place.

• 5.2A - generate a fraction equivalent to a given fraction such as 1/2 and 3/6 or 4/12 and 1/3

• 5.2B - generate a mixed number equivalent to a given improper fraction or generate an improper fraction equivalent to a given mixed number

• 5.2C - compare two fractional quantities in problem-solving situations using a variety of methods, including common denominators
